Anwilka Vineyard is a joint venture between Bruno Prats, former owner of Château Cos-d'Estournel, Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, co-owner of Chateau Angelus in Bordeaux, and Lowell Jooste of Klein Constantia Estate. Located in the most prestigious Helderberg South Africa (Stellenbosch), the vineyard was purchased in 1997 and marketing has not begun to Anwilka the 2005 vintage

Were harvested the Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz in March 2005. Dedicated only 10% of the crop to market, considering that the quality deserved to be marketed mainly in the international market through Negociants Bordeaux. With the help of respected consultant Johan Wiese Stellenbosch, the vineyards of Anwilka were replanted in 1998. 40 acres of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and shiraz. The talented South African winemaker has Trizanne Pansegrouw Anwilka 42,000 bottles, with the invaluable assistance provided by experience and Boüard Prats.

Partner philosophy is simply not to spare any expense when considering the possible final quality of the wine. The resources are not spent on lavish buildings but the best technology and tools for producing high-end wine.
